  • Points are tracked for characters in the following categories. For a more detailed specification on how events are recorded, check out the exhaustive rulebook spec.

    Kills

Corpses produced. Must be done directly by the character, not just by the character's orders ("he who passes the sentence shall swing the sword")
    • Kills of named characters count for 10 points
    • Kills of unnamed characters count for 2 points
    • Inflicting severe injuries count for half a kill (i.e. 5 points for named chars, 1 for unnamed)
    • Inflicting minor injuries (non-permanent) count for 1 point

    Insults Delivered / Funny Lines

Witty insults, intimidating threats, serious burns, or just funny comments delivered by the character.
    • 3 points per line

    Acts of Intercourse

Sex or implied sex. Nudity contributes additional points.
    • 5 points for sex acts
    • 5 points each for additional nudity (see scoring rulebook)

    Glasses of Wine Consumed

    • 5 points per glass (sips rounded up)

    Political Wins

Acts that bolster a character's (or their House's) political strength.
    • 3 points for overruling others with an executive decision on a major issue
    • 3 points for changing a character's mind on a major issue
    • 3 points for discovery of a major secret
    • 3 points for mentions of a character's house words
    • 3 points when characters gain a new title, weapon, or castle/city
    • 3 points when a commander wins a battle
    • 3 points for gaining another named character as a follower or prisoner. Marriages and new babies also counted.
    • 3 points for acts of betrayal
    • 3 points for marriages
    • 3 points for deals brokered

    Deaths

Consolation category for when your characters die. =[
    • 5 points are granted for death
    • 2 points granted for each reappearance of a character's remains, excluding the death scene

    Special

Points contributed by characters' special abilities.
    • 3 points for each occurrence
    • Special abilities may be added or modified as the season progresses, particularly for newly-introduced characters

    There are three scoring formats:

    • Direct Points: Each character's event carries a point value, and a team's score is the sum of points for all events by characters on that team. Certain Event Types carry point multipliers in this type to balance out the categories (e.g. wine drinking counts for 3x as much as kills since they occur less often).
    • Direct Points Head-to-Head: Same as Direct Points, but instead of accumulating points throughout the season, each week will pit players against each other head-to-head - the team that scores the most points for the week gets the Win.
    • Rotisserie: A more balanced scoring format - character events for a team are summed in each scoring category, and players receive points for where their category score ranks - in an 8-team league, the team in 1st-place of a category receives 8 points, the 2nd-place team receives 7 points, and so on. These category ranking points are then summed up for the team's score.
