Injury of a named character is 5pts according to the rulebook, I guess there's a sliding scale for major/minor? Yeah, this needs clarification.

Oops, you're right to bring this up. We added this last year but neglected to update the kills category. So the sliding scale (with multiplier) goes:

Named Kill: 10pts
Named Major Injury: 5pts (something permanent, like Jaime losing a hand)
Named Minor Injury: 2pts (Arya getting beat up pretty badly)
Unnamed Kill: 2pts
Unnamed Major Injury: 1pt

I'd like to keep this as a category for the future since we had it for previous seasons, but you're right that I neglected to update the rule text. I'll remove this if a lot of people feel strongly that the event doesn't belong. -nyan

I don't think a major injury needs to be permanent, but it can't be a small wound. Something they have to recover from. -alicehanners

The major/minor distinction is helpful - there is otherwise a very large gap between Jaime getting his hand cut off (major, permanent implications for the show), and a character like Arya getting a bit beat up (happens almost every fight scene, almost never affects the plot). -nyan
