Similar to Bronn's wildfire explosion on the Blackwater (http://fantasora.com/event/1151), the whole ship went down with probably dozens if not hundreds of soldiers onboard, but it'd be impossible to speculate what that count would be. The 19 deaths here are based on the number of burning or otherwise injured soldiers shown on-screen.

So this only counts the ship that was burned by Daenerys atop the single dragon, but what about the deaths of the sailors from the other dragons? Ultimately, even though Jon Snow's kills in episode 9 were more personal and shown on screen, the amount of kills that Dany and her dragons committed far outweighed Jon's, thus she should not be trailing him for kills this episode.

I would suggest that the number of ships in the Master's Navy, which was hinted when the initial surrender talks were happening should be multiplied by the 19 we see die on screen. Each ship having 19 sailors evident on screen, but the entire navy is wiped out. I'd have to rewatch to get the exact figure he mentions, but I think it's either 100 or 1000. -mg.flanigan11

I definitely think so. I think the argument against this was that we didn't see the arrows go in, but we saw the arrows "loosed" and then saw him full of arrows.

I think, for instance, in the season where Joffrey kills Roz, it shows her full of arrows right after he is done shooting her, and he has the crossbow. Just because we don't specifically see it doesn't mean it wouldn't count as him killing her. Same logic applies, you see the weapon, you see the injury, just because you don't see the exact second of arrow penetration doesn't mean it shouldn't logically count. -taylorreneegoodrich

The criteria for each category is a little different, so I wouldn't automatically use the Kills rules for Wun Wun's special. A character with an empty glass for example, never gets an implied drink score.

I suppose this is moot now that Wun Wun's gone, but I would think about how you would want to reward Wun Wun's scenes. He's a big target, so him getting hit by arrows in a battle is inevitable. The S6E2 scene where he gets hit by the crossbow, shrugs it off, and completely wastes the guy who shot him is sort of the prototypical scene for this special - should the off-screen arrow hits be rewarded the same way?

Also I've been doing a Wun Wun-only rewatch of the battle scenes, and there is actually one other spear jab that I found towards the end of the encirclement. He actually screams in pain from that one, so perhaps it isn't automatic that "Wun Wun has arrows in him" => "he shrugged them off". -nyan

I mean, if I was that full of arrows I wouldn't still be going full tilt towards the gates of Winterfell. Just because we didn't see them go in doesn't mean none of them should count, especially when he is still being completely bad ass with them in. I would say that is the equivalent of shrugging off an injury, he definitely keeps playing through the pain. -taylorreneegoodrich

I'd say, since we did see the Wun Wun with the arrows in him, and this _is_ his special, at least some of them should count. I think though that's it's also fair to say that by the time he had breached the gate of Winterfell, that they were taking a toll, so were no longer being 'shrugged off'. -dopeghoti
