This was lowered with the change last season, I think specifically the argument was H2H matchups where the team with the killer is basically tied with the the person who died, and it seems like the killer ought to win that matchup. I don't mind raising it back up if that's what everyone wants. -nyan

8 seems good since the reason I thought they were so many points was because you're losing out on those points for the rest of the season and you essentially have a spot on your roster that is suddenly much less helpful -cfitzgerald

I argued pretty hard for the dip to 5 points after last season.

Basically it became really easy to reserve like 1/3 of your roster slots for streaming randos who were likely to die in the next episode, and this strategy was incredibly powerful in H2H with 10 point deaths. -jedjackoway

We'll keep it at 5, along the lines of the discussion last season. The deaths are a nice consolation, but shouldn't be a dominant strategy and it was being used that way with the adds. -nyan
