I think he was already named king of the Ironborn, he just took prisonners (already scored), and political win is already scored too for the battle -emilien.raggi

True that he was named the king of the Ironborn, but Yara and Theon were still his political rivals, they usurped him for power over a portion of the population of Ironborn. He eliminated those political rivals which were vying for power over a population which should rightfully be under his control. -hkeseyan

Good catch! I would say there was some slight question to whether Yara/Theon's Ironborn would actually defect to Euron, but definitely as mutineers they put some doubt into the legitimacy of Euron's command, and he's effectively quashed it. -nyan
