That's definitely the intention of Jon, and presumably Daenerys doesn't intend to keep it long-term. But it doesn't change the fact that Daenerys does control Longclaw currently. -nyan

I'll switch it into submissions to get more views/discussion on it. I do admit this one is scored more on the letter of the rules than the spirit of them, and we don't really have much evidence that Daenerys would intend to keep Longclaw currently. -nyan

I have a solution: if Daenerys keeps Longclaw, give her betrayal points and then points for acquiring the weapon. That seems like a fair way to score it. I suppose this also means a new scoring rule that you need to assume... usable possession of a weapon? Permanent possession? Basically just stating that coat checks don't count. -nyan

That sounds good, I've added the following into the rulebook: "Weapons temporarily ceded with the assumption of being returned are not counted. The character acquiring the weapon must indicate their willingness to use the weapon, or to keep it on a permanent/indefinite basis. Basically, coat checks do not count." -nyan
