The Northern forces win the ground war over the Lannister army, who are in disarray after surrendering their weapons and attempting to flee. (Victorious Battle)
It's hard to say who is really "leading" the Northern/Daenerys forces on the ground, as Tyrion is hanging back, Davos has no role, and Jon is unable to control his own troops (and isn't issuing many commands). This was given to Grey Worm on the basis of being the emotional leader who first spears the surrendered Lannister soldier and starts the chaos.-nyan

I agree w/ you very much. Tyrion, Davos & Jon had no control over the forces. Grey Worm acted like the leader and led the troops to take the actions that they took (pillage & plunder)-will.reich
