Looks like a slight predicament here - Eddie Eyre (listed as Rowland Selwyn, and currently incorrectly renamed to Howland Reed) in fact plays Oswell Whent. Because players drafted him, we'll have to count the points.

Book-only names won't count, so none of Ned Stark's bannermen are counted as named.

There is slight precedent before for adding "major" characters who never had a spoken name, for example the three White Walkers we've been shown (Sam's kill, Jon's kill, and the thorny-headed king). I think it's definitely good to count this even if he has already publicly outed Margaery as a sinner. It's exactely this obnoxious way of using every situation to make every last person aware of the sinner that is his speciality. It's like Daenerys repeating her titles over and over again and I'm sure there are more examples.
I assume the repetition came up here because of the question if kills that have already been shown should count if they reappear in Bran's visions? There I would disagree, but to me these are two entirely different things. It might help to step out of the scoring framework for an instant and think about how you experience these different acts while watching the episodes (without having the fantasy league in mind :D).

Maybe, it might also help to think in terms of plot and story. A kill happens once in the story, but the plot may deliver information about that at another time within the narrative - or even multiple times. The High Sparrow's multiple announcements do actually happen that often. Furthermore, it's not about revealing a secret, it's the act of denouncing he likes so much :)

I would say survival in that circumstance is evidence of a convincing argument. She had just confessed to murder yet sh's being set free. We'd have to look at the severity of the crime. If you were accused of murder in front of the Sheriff and you confess, but then argue of your use in the world and your spared the penalty of murder, I'd say your argument was convincing. Jon seals the deal on this one when he threatens that he'll "have her hanged for murder" if she returns. That means he's knowingly releasing a murderer. -mg.flanigan11

With all that we know about Jon Snow, I don't think that there was any doubt that he would have had her killed had she not convinced him otherwise. He executed Janos Slynt for disobeying a direct order from the Lord Commander. Considering Melisandre admitted to burning an innocent girl alive, there is no way his default decision wouldn't have been to kill her. But she managed to convince him to not kill her, so I think she should definitely be rewarded points-wise for still being alive even if she was exiled. I don't think we have a prescedent that a character needs to get everything they're arguing for to get the points, so I think successfully convincing Jon to let her live is good enough for points -cfitzgerald

The monologue that was promised... so sad it didn't show up:

"Broken men are more deserving of our pity, though they may be just as dangerous. Almost all are common-born, simple folk who had never been more than a mile from the house where they were born until the day some lord came round to take them off to war. Poorly shod and poorly clad, they march away beneath his banners, ofttimes with no better arms than a sickle or a sharpened hoe, or a maul they made themselves by lashing a stone to a stick with strips of hide. Brothers march with brothers, sons with fathers, friends with friends. They've heard the songs and stories, so they go off with eager hearts, dreaming of the wonders they will see, of the wealth and glory they will win. War seems a fine adventure, the greatest most of them will ever know.
Then they get a taste of battle.

For some, that one taste is enough to break them. Others go on for years, until they lose count of all the battles they have fought in, but even a man who has survived a hundred fights can break in his hundred-and-first. They slaughter their sheep and steal their chickens, and from there it's just a short step to carrying off their daughters too. And one day they look around and realize all their friends and kin are gone, that they are fighting beside strangers beneath a banner that they hardly recognize. They don't know where they are or how to get back home and the lord they're fighting for does not know their names, yet here he comes, shouting for them to form up, to make a line with their spears and scythes and sharpened hoes, to stand their ground. And the knights come down on them, faceless men clad all in steel, and the iron thunder of their charge seems to fill the world...

And the man breaks.

He turns and runs, or crawls off afterward over the corpses of the slain, or steals away in the black of night, and he finds someplace to hide. All thought of home is gone by then, and kings and lords and gods mean less to him than a haunch of spoiled meat that will let him live another day, or a skin of bad wine that might drown his fear for a few hours. There was actually a last-minute change to clarify Jorah's special a bit - the old text was "Daneerys leads him on", and it's now "gets friendzoned". Paola has a fair point that it may not count even then - it's really Daario jabbing at/referencing his friendzone status, and not actually Daenerys putting him in it. Maybe this is getting a little nitty-gritty into friendzones from an veteran friendzoner, but I thought of this as more of a straight insult about Jorah's age/stamina. The friendzone is more about how close you are platonically to someone, while not being anywhere remotely close to getting with them in romantic/physical terms. Daario doesn't take any shots at that aspect of Jorah/Daenerys' relationship here. -nyan
