Titles are like WWE championships - points are awarded for each title gained and re-gained (e.g. losing and winning titles repeatedly makes you an 8x WWE Intercontinental Champion. Holding and defending the title for 8 years still just counts as 1x)

I think if we get really technical about it, King in the North and Warden of the North are mutually exclusive - you can only be Warden for a reigning monarch, which implies you're not King in the North. Per the WWE criteria, any title change counts even if it sounds like a demotion (one could argue it's a smaller fish in a bigger pond scenario). -nyan
