Typically for a battle scene, the army's actions are not automatically counted for the commander. Here's the exact criteria from the rulebook: "A commanded kill is counted, if it requires absolutely no skill on the part of the person carrying it out."

This brings up an interesting point because the WW King "commands" the wights much more directly than any human commands an army. But I think it still falls into the category of the wights acting of their own zombie-mentality accord.

I think convincing argument is actually the best fit here, if you see it as a negotiation - the castle for Edmure's life. The Freys are prepared to take at least one, and the Blackfish verbally calls their bluff and gets them to act his way (sparing Edmure, for now). What would you think about expanding "convincing argument" to including "winning a negotiation" to better fit these situations in the future? -nyan

Well he didn't really give an order that was carried out. I added it as convincing argument for the reasons outlined, but it isn't quite a perfect fit. Another one this could fit under is "secret discovery", i.e. he calls the Freys' bluff and discovers that they don't actually have the balls/permission to kill Edmure. -nyan

Pretty much we have to count the points here, the severed head is about as confirmed dead as you can get (else we second-guess every death on the show). The two options I can think of are:

1. Retroactively remove the points if the ruse is revealed later. Potentially upsets expectations if it changes scoring/wins from a long time ago (and what about season-spanning deception?)

2. Count the kills/death as they are apparently, and let the points stick. This allows for the same Characters to get multiple kill/death points, which was previously only allowed for very special cases (Jaqen H'ghar, Beric Dondarrion). Only exception is if the reveal happens in the same episode.

Leaning towards the second, as it's the easier way to keep consistent scoring (and not risk spoilers for late-watchers). -nyan

There was actually a last-minute change to clarify Jorah's special a bit - the old text was "Daneerys leads him on", and it's now "gets friendzoned". Paola has a fair point that it may not count even then - it's really Daario jabbing at/referencing his friendzone status, and not actually Daenerys putting him in it. Maybe this is getting a little nitty-gritty into friendzones from an veteran friendzoner, but I thought of this as more of a straight insult about Jorah's age/stamina. The friendzone is more about how close you are platonically to someone, while not being anywhere remotely close to getting with them in romantic/physical terms. Daario doesn't take any shots at that aspect of Jorah/Daenerys' relationship here. -nyan
