Sorry, the site is a bit confusing there. Kills Commanded is actually a deprecated category - we had it for the S4 game but it's been folded into regular Kills for S5 (it just didn't happen often enough to be its own Roto category). @elaine, the pure scorekeeper in me doesn't like this as much either, but I'll end up recording the Kill and Death points based on it being highly likely that it happened. Pragmatically there is more riding on this death than Barristan's, because his potential death would just be recorded in the subsequent episode, which isn't a possibility here. Ultimately I think more players will be happier with the points recorded. -nyan

This isn't an insult and I don't find it funny. Out of context, it's not funny, and in context, it shows Sam's laziness, where Gilly is in fairly constant danger, surrounded by men who hate her, but Sam doesn't want to train because he had a few lucky moments beyond the wall.

Is this category purely "made the scorekeeper laugh"? Gilly certainly didn't find it funny and it wasn't delivered as though it was humor. -alicehanners

It might be seen as delivered as humor if Sam was using it to jokingly poke fun at how useless he is otherwise (hey, remember those two times I ended up doing something right??), but you can tell he's genuinely proud of himself and thinks he can protect Gilly because of this.

The "context" for humor is that of the viewer - many jokes won't be funny at all to any characters in-universe, but the humor is meant for those *watching* the show. In this case, Sam isn't telling a joke and Gilly isn't perceiving it as a joke. But the viewer obviously sees through Samwell's weak attempt at a brag for what it is, and Samwell's vanity is the joke here. I'm not quite sure that interpretation of the MPAA guidelines is correct - I'm pretty sure the Dany bath scene from S3 would earn an R-rating, and the general bare butts we saw in S5E1 would still fall within PG-13.

That said, I'm not philosophically opposed to counting butts. Originally this was conceived as a "buff" for female characters to have more potential for sex points, but it's shown up sparingly enough that it wouldn't hugely upset the balance to count down. Here's a question though: would you want to grant a full 5x point multiplier (potentially 25pts) to a fully-nude female sex scene?

btw, this was established already in the rulebook: "individual boobs and lower-body genitalia", which excludes butts but was perhaps not explicit enough. Given that, it likely won't change since everyone has already drafted with the given ruleset and it would be unfair to suddenly change the scoring afterward. But I'm very open to the discussion for a future scoring change (S6 and beyond). -nyan
