In the rulebook for Kills.IV we have a rule for: "Pretty much any kind of strike on random extras is counted for a kill unless the extra is shown to be explicitly alive after. This is applied often for large battle scenes."

It's just a lot easier to count, else there are a lot of nitpicky debates that some strike is on a non-fatal region, or the shield bash didn't look strong enough, etc. -nyan

I've been paying relatively close attention to his name, and I don't recall ever hearing it spoken aloud. IMDB credits Broadbent as Ebrose. Also, I believe Ebrose was in the books as more of a healer, while Marwyn was more of a magician. Given the autopsy scene and the greyscale scenes, I think Ebrose is more fitting with the direction they want to take the character -hkeseyan

In the rulebook it states that large battles can be divided up and have multiple victory points awarded for each segment. I personally like the "willingly told" criteria of the rule. A huge part of everything we see on screen is a secret in one way or another to other character's in the show. Without the "willingly told" clause this rule could start to run away with points. For example every named character in winterfell would have just gotten points for finding out that Bran is still alive, do we really want 10+ characters getting points for finding out a secret each episode? -ssantise

@ssantise that was the initial reason for the "willingly told" criteria, definitely something like Bran coming to Winterfell is now just new information, not a valuable secret. The new idea is the criteria that someone is the first/only person to know of a secret, since that gives them exclusive power to act on that information. That would seem to fit Jaime's situation (he could exonerate Sansa and Tyrion with this info). -nyan

There's an argument to be made that "New Army/Castle" could be expanded to encompass generally valuable loot. I agree that getting the gold was a vital part of this mission, just as important as actually defeating the Tyrells. But that's also expanding the criteria and not quite a reasonable interpretation of the existing rules. I think you should add the caveat that being willfully told a secret only counts if the only people who know the secret are the person telling the secret in the person being told secret. That still allows for secret discovery when it's not willingly told, but that puts an end to potential secret chains. What happens if Cersei told someone that Olenna killed Joffrey? The scoring should be about what the viewers see. So they get credit for the on-screen butts and nudity. Presumably every sex scene (even the PG ones), all the characters see all the parts so the scoring wouldn't really work that way. Is anyone else upset with how LF went out? Until this season LF had the most unpredictable plans and was always smart enough to have someone else do the dirty work for him. This season his scheme was in your face and obvious. He always played 4 dimensional chess and this season it was 1 dimensional. Also say what you want about him but LF wouldnt beg for his life. He was willing to fight and die against Brandon Stark and also advised to risk everything because life is fleeting. I never really cared about how the show differs from the book as long as the characters stay the same. I really feel like this was a misrepresentation of LF. -hindsight44

I feel like they dragged his death on for so long - he was basically kept as a laying duck all season while we knew his demise was coming. He did practically nothing with the extra time he was given to live (all the failed whispering in Sansa's ear was so bad, I'd rather have LF killed off earlier than see him like that). Similar situation with Varys except they haven't built an entire plotline in a major location around his demise -hkeseyan

Definitely, Littlefinger was always the most dangerous man in Westeros, I imagined his demise would see him get all the way to the pinnacle of power, and only then to get backstabbed by Sansa.

I'd have a hard time writing a good S7 storyline for Littlefinger though. I think they put themselves into a corner by showing Sansa was through with him and saw everything. In my fantasy storyline, Sansa is the only Stark who sees a reedeming quality in Baelish, and goes along with his schemes against the better advice of all her family and followers. And then at the pinnacle do we find out that Sansa was the one playing an even longer game, and perhaps she can actually be as selfishly power-thirsty as Arya accuses her. It'd be awesome if we had one Stark who was questionably a villain, and not all goody-goodies. -nyan

So far he's scored 24pts off this Special, which leads the category but I wouldn't consider to be game-breaking. It's definitely a very good special, but still far shy of the uber powerful ones like Hodor's or Doran's.
