Oops, you're right to bring this up. We added this last year but neglected to update the kills category. So the sliding scale (with multiplier) goes:

Named Kill: 10pts
Named Major Injury: 5pts (something permanent, like Jaime losing a hand)
Named Minor Injury: 2pts (Arya getting beat up pretty badly)

The major/minor distinction is helpful - there is otherwise a very large gap between Jaime getting his hand cut off (major, permanent implications for the show), and a character like Arya getting a bit beat up (happens almost every fight scene, almost never affects the plot). -nyan

Personally I'm a bit in agreement with Alice from the original thread... the damage seems a little weak even for the "minor" subcategory. "Major" is reserved for permanent injuries (e.g. losing a hand), and most of the examples of minor injury have been more severe... Arya got the sticks knocked out of her by the Waif for example. Should we require some visible signs of injury for the minor category (visible bleeding or bruising)? -nyan

I think convincing argument is actually the best fit here, if you see it as a negotiation - the castle for Edmure's life. The Freys are prepared to take at least one, and the Blackfish verbally calls their bluff and gets them to act his way (sparing Edmure, for now). What would you think about expanding "convincing argument" to including "winning a negotiation" to better fit these situations in the future? -nyan

Well he didn't really give an order that was carried out. I added it as convincing argument for the reasons outlined, but it isn't quite a perfect fit. Another one this could fit under is "secret discovery", i.e. he calls the Freys' bluff and discovers that they don't actually have the balls/permission to kill Edmure. -nyan

Hopefully this will become clearer when I can make a detailed breakdown for each scoring event. The sex category gets 1 pt EACH for: sex itself (incl. implied), each boob, butts, frontal nudity. Here's an idea that we could add for Ruleset 4.0: we can further break up scoring and add an additional point for on-screen gettin' it in. I agree that there should be a sub-point system of "intercourse". Because if we are now simply assuming that the twins engaged in intercourse off camera, we are opening up the point system to a number of assumed acts of whatever (intercourse related, kill related, wine related). For example, we didn't see Sam drink any wine during the dinning scene. But isn't it safe to say that he probably drank wine prior or during the course of his meal? -Tose

The criteria for each category is different, and there is some balance in mind when deciding how strict they are. "Cups on the table" would be a close equivalent to "making out in a private room", but as @Tose says we would start giving away way too many wine points (these wine points would also feel "cheap" compared to characters who are doing actual on-screen drinking). For sex, the easier implied criteria has been fine since explicit sex scenes are fairly rare on the show. -nyan

Pretty much we have to count the points here, the severed head is about as confirmed dead as you can get (else we second-guess every death on the show). The two options I can think of are:

1. Retroactively remove the points if the ruse is revealed later. Potentially upsets expectations if it changes scoring/wins from a long time ago (and what about season-spanning deception?)

2. Count the kills/death as they are apparently, and let the points stick. This allows for the same Characters to get multiple kill/death points, which was previously only allowed for very special cases (Jaqen H'ghar, Beric Dondarrion). Only exception is if the reveal happens in the same episode.

Leaning towards the second, as it's the easier way to keep consistent scoring (and not risk spoilers for late-watchers). -nyan

Maybe this is getting a little nitty-gritty into friendzones from an veteran friendzoner, but I thought of this as more of a straight insult about Jorah's age/stamina.
