I think the scoring criteria should purely go off of what happened in the show. It's truer to what the characters actually accomplished. The existence of the character on the draft list is simply based on pre-season rumors, and this one turned out to be insignificant.

I also don't want to start weighing whether or not characters will be countable towards named kills in the pre-season, when I'm just scouring all the casting lists to give players all the options to draft from. -nyan

Daenerys does get points for "Fire and Blood", but it does need to include both of them. It is a little loose here, the operative words are "winter"and "coming", and slight variations of it, but as long as those two words are together I think it's okay to count (but if everyone feels strongly about strict wording, we can stick to that). I do think the wording in both lines was chosen specifically to echo the Stark words.

I don't see much difference between "winter has come" and "winter came", in terms of how well it sticks to the wording - it would be both or none. The House Words scoring is just for dropping the lines, there's no need for them to be quality/impactful lines unlike the Insults category. -nyan

Yeah to me, overruling Jaime is the most concrete thing that's been done so far. It's a little soft that simply meeting with Euron is a "major decision", but Jaime argues pretty hard against doing that and as Queen, and exerts her power by just doing it anyway. -nyan

I Interprered this as two things. First was her decision that she is longer hiding their incest

I agree that this does deserved points for an Executive Decision, her openly revealing her incestual relationship is a Major Decision. However Cersie definitely should not be getting 2X multiplier for non-sexual acts. She already is probably going to be the highest scoring character in the game and if shes going to be more open about her relationship with Jamie she definitely cannot be getting 2X for everything she does.

I think we need clarification on the Cersie's special. The rule currently reads: "2x multiplier for sex scenes involving incest" although I believe it has the same meaning, I think it should be refined to read "2x multiplier for sexual ACTS involving incest". -ssantise

I would like to argue this is not gaining a new follower. Arya already knew Brienne had sworn her sword to her as we knew with the fight for the Hound. After she defeated the Hound Arya had to hide from Brienne because she was do dedicated to serving Arya.

Compare this to when Arya met with Nymeria this season. Nymeria showed zero interest in following Arya and decided to take her own path. Yet Arya still got points for a new army points. Even though Nymeria has shown she considers herself independent. This set the precedent that the follower/ followee relationship is set regardless of the followee wants the help of the follower. In short its not right that Nymeria is follower of Arya even though Nymeria rejected Arya and that Brienne isnt a follower of Arya because Arya rejected her. By the precedent set by the show Brienne has been a follower of Arya since her encounter with the Hound not this episode. If anythinf Arya is now Briennes follower in the sense that Arya wants to learn from Brienne how to fight. -hindsight44

Clarification for Nymeria - it was Nymeria who acquired the "new army" of wolves, however all of these points transferred to Arya only because of her special ability which is that she gets points for anything Nymeria does. If Nymeria and Arya were separately draftable characters, Nymeria would have gotten the new army points and Arya would have gotten zero points for that scene.

If a character rejects a follower/title/castle/etc, it will not count. For example in S7E3 when Bran rejected Sansa naming him Lord of Winterfell. While Brienne made the pledge earlier and tried to assert it in the battle with the Hound, this is the first moment when Arya actually accepts that servitude. -nyan

Overuling doesnt mean mean you need to order anything. Her decision was to stay the course against a third parties disaproval. In a court of law a judge uses overrule so the subject can stay the course and not accept whatever arguement the lawyer is trying to present. Cersei didnt give an order or change anything at all when she Overuled Jaimes advice to meet with Euron, she simply stayed the course after overuling her generals advice. Also this was clearly not a simple tit for tat conversation, Jaime says at the beginning of the episode he has to tell Cersei how bad this is. As general of her army in his next scene he specifcally went to her to try and convince her that this is a war that they will lose. -hindsight44

Jaime isnt leadong her armies though, it was pretty clear he defected, he wasnt in any Lannister armor and was riding by himself. The reason he left was because Cersei overruled him. @j.stainless11 I hear you, the nebulous specials are detrimental to fair scoring, at the same time implemented so the game could react better to fun stuff happening on the show. We do try to not be reactionary by adding stuff just because it happened in one episode, in this case Arya has been face changing for all of S6 so this seems like a well-established ability of hers at this point, not a one off. -nyan

I absolutely do not think that Arya should lose her Nymeria special @nathan. I would be fine with Arya adding Jaqen's old special additionally, many characters have multiple specials. I could maybe see a debate to replace the hitlist with this.

@talindsey you can argue for any character you like to get a new special, just start a new event. Your not gonna get anywhere trying to get other characters specials changed within the comments of separate character. I need to implement the Facebook LOVE/HAHA reactions just for Alice's commentary on here. For the record there are no other admins this season, but lots of passionate players who like to debate, and that's one of the things I enjoy most about the site. There's a few good articles and reddit threads about this but yeah I feel the same. I think running out of the pre-written book material, and deciding to just run with the 7 episodes of concrete content they had rather than flesh things out, has hurt them. On one hand, Benioff and Weiss were never going to be able to write out the same level of plot intricacies that GRRM would, and the attempts we've seen have been god awful (everything about Dorne, and I'd argue the treatment of Euron). But there are a lot of competent writers out there from other shows, I feel like they had the budget to create something here. -nyan

Theres no way the creators can say there wasnt enough material to make three more episodes. In e5 Gendry comes back, Jorah comes back, Bran sends a raven to dragon stone and they all end up at fucking eastwatch together. Not to mention cutting off a conversation half way through between Tyrion and Jaime that could have been a great fucking scene. Seriously missed opportunity. Also The brotherhood just magically going from the riverlands to eastwatch with no scenes in between. Im gonna beyond pissed if the writers dont take advantage of The Hound and Tormund being together.Also Dorne is a great example, usually the show is really good at atleast representing who the characters are if they cant fit in the plot points. But they just glossed over Doran and made him look like a pussy and Areo Hotah didnt kill one fucking person. The board probably got together and realized they would make the same revenue by making either 7 or 10 episodes. -hindsight44

Yeah there was a ton more for Jaime-Tyrion! This was their first meeting since S4! All the pent up resentment, Jaime discovering that Tyrion wasn't behind Joffrey after all, Tyrion thinking he'd almost lose his brother for that stupid charge against the dragon! And instead after 10s Jaime just interrupts his brother so they can move on to talking about what Daenerys, Jon Snow, and Cersei want to do. grrr -nyan
